Your new company
A Global Financial Services organisation is currently recruiting an Internal Auditor to join its specialist Asset Management Audit function at Senior Auditor level. Group Internal Audit have a key role in supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives of being a world class Savings and Investments organisation.
This organisation is uniquely positioned to support, by ensuring that the work aligns to the business priorities and key risks that the organisation faces.
Your new role
You will lead and manage a portfolio of audits, whilst balancing timescale to complete and deliver the audit plan. You will directly contribute to the shaping of that plan and to the wider development of the GIA function.

Key Responsibilities:
- Input to develop the audit plan, researching appropriate universe entity;
- Accountable for detailed planning, scoping & performance of audit work, with risk & control issues identified and analysed;
- Communicating finding effectively to senior business management team;
- Supporting the Audit Manager in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;
- Coach and support colleagues across the wider business on risk & control matters;
- Act as a role model for GIA's vision, culture, strategy and plan.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential
- Educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification (e. CIA, CA, IIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent);
- Experience of undertaking audits/ controls assurance reviews within Asset Management context;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills on a 1:1 and group situations;
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships;
- Demonstrable ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-moving commercial environment.
Desirable
- In-depth knowledge and/or experience of the investment management industry;
- Sound knowledge of relevant financial services regulations.
